A very busy week in 4D's classroom.
We had Cassidy Hershberger come from the High School to be our guest reader for homecoming. She was a former student of Mrs. Bender's. She remembered reading Wait Till Helen Comes, when she was in 3rd grade!
Tuesday was our first visit to Parkview Nursing Home. The kids had a great time coloring with some of the residents.
Class Distinction Day - Red was the 4th grade's color. Of course, we had to do a goofy picture too!
Math - We measured our head sizes to review how to make a bar graph, a plot line graph and to find all of the data landmarks.
Tie Dye Day Activities. We played many games that focused on building teamwork, tie-dyed our shirts, and got to spend some time playing on our Chrome books.
We did so some work on Friday. The kids learned and/or reviewed the important parts of writing a paragraph. After outlining their thoughts, the kids typed their paragraphs on their Google docs.
