PBIS Award Celebration and Tie Dye Day!

October 14th - 18th

Math/Social Studies - Using the globes the kids measure distances between cities.  A good lesson to identify where some of the countries are located too!

Learning about Columbus and why now it is called Indigenous People Day.

Reading - Identifying the 6 elements of a biography story.

Celebrating Downs Syndrome Awareness Month by decorating cookies - a yummy treat!

Science - Learning about food chains and food webs.

Field Trip to University of Northern Iowa!  The kids loved the buses!  Enjoyed the play and the activities in the library.

Congratulations to Emma, our PBIS Winner this month.

Huge thanks to Phelan Hochstetler for coming and telling us all about joining 4-H.  Folders were sent home with information to join Washington Co. 4-H.  For information about Johnson Co. 4-H, call the extension office in Iowa City.
