A quick activity for recognizing Columbus Day.
Social Studies: We are just starting our Railroad Unit. One of the activities is to read Stop the Train which is about a town, just starting in Oklahoma in the 1800's. Here the kids are discussing how they would set up a new town on the plains.
Science - One last check of our meal worms as they are beginning to develop into beetles.
The assembly on Thursday was a member of the Harlem Wizards basketball team. Max & Andrew were two of the volunteers.
Science - Working on the vocabulary which goes with our Food Chain & Food Web unit.
