October 22nd - 26th

Math -Using our researching skills to learn about different countries.



Science - Working in groups to create our Food Chains.




Two Washington County police officers came and spoke to the 4th grade classes during Red Ribbon Week.


Math - Measuring the distances between Washington D.C. and other countries around the globe.

Activities from Morning Meetings:



Practicing our multiplication facts using the Baseball Multiplication Game.


Sorting our food web cards according to our categories of herbivores, producers, omnivores, and carnivores.



Practicing our fluency and expression reading with a short story in our Benchmark reading book.



Practicing our fact families with a speed round game.



Wrapping up our salt tolerance experiment for plants.  Barley and peas were the most tolerable to the salt - only in small doses.
